Music Monday

So I can't really think of anything to say about the pictures I randomly collect on my desktop throughout the week but then again it's my blog so I don't really have to explain. Maybe I'll start doing this every Monday, as a way of "cleansing" my desktop, which is this smokin' hot picture of Miss Bridgitte Bardot.
And here is some music to go with your Monday, which if it's anything like mine (after an allnight catch up session with the real housewives of NYC) you will be exhausted and ready for summer. The Robert Earl Keen Jr song is in hopes that I will going to see him Thursday at the newly renovated Jefferson theater in Charlottesville on Thursday...

Target does it again...

Target's Liberty of London patterned collection makes my knees weak. I've only looked online and the few commercials I saw while back in Florida because I dare not actually step foot in a store and tempt myself. I have been WAITING FOREVER though for them to finally have the guest designers for housewares like they do for clothes and thank you god, he finally delivered. Now if only I had a house I could fill with all these treasures, and an endless supply of money... Maybe I could sell my car for cash and just use this beautiful bike for transportation...

speaking of birthdays...

...just because I'm downplaying mine doesn't mean I don't want presents. If anyone feels so inclined to buy me these glasses with my prescription I'd be a huge fan. Especially since when I went to get a price estimate I found out that with my near blind state the lenses would cost a cool $300. Maybe I'll just be really lame and wear the ones without a prescription and lie. I guess it goes well with my age lying plan... I'm turning into a liar in my old age.

I want to be forever young.

So my 23rd birthday is in a little over a week. Normally I make a huge production and make sure all the work knows that it is MY special anniversary of coming out of my mom's... well you know. However, this year it has snuck up on me and given me the first taste of birthdays to come where I pretend I'm turning 21, again. So I am officially designating 23 as my last year of getting older. Not that I am going to die or anything, lets hope, but I plan on looking (and playing the role of) 23 years old until I turn 30, and maybe longer. I always said I'd never lie about my age but then again all fabulous women lie about their age and say it's impolite to ask a woman how old she is so I will be following in that path. To begin this wonderful journey of 23 I bought myself the below item as a birthday gift to prepare. I even went online, read reviews, and printed coupons like old women.

...the music's for the sad men.

Fly away with me

Hayyyy I'm from the FLA

Heading home to florida for the week. Sharing some sisterly loving with Meredith on her spring break down in beautiful boca! God I need this... Oh, and yeah, this is how I pack. Complete with mason staring over my shoulder scoffing at my unsensible packing skills and owsley attempting to make himself comfortable on a sequin Betsey Johnson dress.

Stackin dat chedda

I'm a pot dealer. And by pot dealer I mean copper pots and pans that I sell on eBay. My business is finally starting to work out, at least as a little side project to distract me from my real job. Now if I can only figure out how to prevent myself from spending everything I make via eBay, on other crap from eBay. Case in point, the little gems I picked up from the good ol' USPS when I went to go ship out packages this morning. Everyone needs some red cowboy boots...

PS. GORGEOUS WEATHER MAKES ME SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!

Stumble, but don't fall.

I recently discovered "stumble upon." The application for the internet where you can "stumble upon" things you will probably like based on your interests. Basically pandora radio for you and the entire world. Anyways, I'm always impressed with the cool stuff they send me to on the internet, especially since I have trouble picking just the suggested 5 categories of interests and instead chose upwards of 40, but this site totally preoccupied my time and attention for wayyyyy to long. It's kinda creepy and I'm slightly obsessed. Click at your own risk. You have been warned.

This $h!t is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S

I also love vimeo. It attracts a different creative goal and audience than youtube (which I also love). But vimeo is sweet for finding crazy, super creative videos. This is one...

Mac's are awesome

So my wonderful parents blessed me with this beauty for graduation. Secretly, it is one of the main reasons I started this blog because I wanted something semi worthwhile to do on it now that I don't have work for school, besides simply watching endless episodes of Beverly Hills 90210 on megavideo. Anyways... this little gem continues to amaze me everyday. My old iBook was pretty awesome, don't get me wrong, but this bad boy is just so much cooler. So the point of this entry I guess is to tell you about how awesome I think it is that you can upload pictures from iPhoto directly to facebook, something I have always loathed doing and honestly rarely ever ended up doing. iPhoto would always crash on my laptop because it used too much memory to run so I eventually stopped using it and the facebook photo up-loader application thing never worked right and always took way too long. So needless to say, tonight I went through all my photos that I transferred from the ol' ibook and uploaded them to facebook. Some pretty old and yet classic ones were found so I figured I'd include my favorites...

...well maybe another time. I suddenly realized I'm tired, it's 12:08 am, and I have to be at work in 5 hours.

I must say though, I'm starting to get the hang of this blogging thing, and I may even like it.

Home Sweet Home

Would you believe we have a bit of a bug problem?

life after college

i need more hobbies

obsessions

Why does Anthropologie have to always create such wonderful things that always suddenly overtake my every thought and make me believe I HAVE TO HAVE THEM or my life will not be complete? They are seriously the only store that really satisfies me anymore after falling in love with eBay. And lets be honest, half of my love of eBay is the fact that I can find affordable things from Anthro, or at least a close second.

I have been stalking the above throw for a good 6 months now. It has gone from $198 to a nice $49.95 my friends. I knew it would pay to hold out, even though I came so close to throwing (nice pun, huh?) in the towel in the fear that they may just sell out and it would never drop more than 50%. Well my friends, the time has come. Although they no longer have my first choice of color (beige), sometimes sacrifices must be made, at least I can justify the potentially obnoxious color with my college colors. The online pictures do no justice. I'll have to post what it REALLY looks like when it comes, if I order it.

My other anthropologie obsession are these mugs.

I have always seen them in the store and wanted one because of the unique type on them but knew the last thing I needed was another mug, especially one with a worthless handle for midget hands. However, after seeing this picture...
... I now know what purpose this mugs will serve in my life. Now I just need to pick out a less cliche and lame phrase or word to spell out...

God save Anthropologie.
